Read the following sentences:

What a great year this will be for UNC basketball.  Of course, every year is a great year for UNC, but I still look forward to it anyways.


To make this sentence correct, change:

a. basketball.  to basketball;
b. every year  to every year,
c.  UNC,  to UNC;
d. anyways to anyway

a. is incorrect.  While you can use a semicolon to combine sentences, you would have to lower case the next word.  Watch out for tricks like this on the EOC.
b. is incorrect.  No comma needed here.
c. is incorrect.  Semicolons are pretty much only used on the EOC when combining sentences.
d. is correct.  There is no "s" on the end of "anyway."
